At the end of life, one will judge oneself against the absolute which he/she knows:

a) because god lives within you -- guess you could say, "God is judging you" -- either way this is absolute b) because no one (including yourself) can live up to your own absolute standards

Your "life" could be called a singular experience, or you could have lived it recursively -- one of many "replays" -- in your own attempt to resolve and judge yourself.

You cannot judge someone else while you are in the process of judging yourself.

Possibly this biblical quote is written as a direct example of this thought and applied (narrowly) against the smallest of our daily judgments. Kinda like, how a father might explain a VERY complicated concept to a 5 year old. You can imagine how the 5 year old would "understand" this idea.
