Just brought a CD-rom put it into your computer and nothing happening what are you doing wrong or is your computer missing some softwaresorry for being so dim?

If you have put blank CD-Rom in CD-drive you will not see anything. As for auto-run, just audio or video CDs will be played back automatically. So you have to check your CD and browse it manually, go to My Computer and open your CD-Drive's icon, if your PC will say that there is not CD inside, he cannot read or successfully opens it but you will see empty window that means there is something wrong with CD.
