Keep in the drawer or keep inside the drawer?

a drawer that holds money i think is called a safe if that is what your are looking for. ------------------------ or perhaps a cash register or money till.

Absolutely, definately. I can think of no better idea than keeping magnets in the same drawer as tapes. Did I mention that my sellotape and gaffer tape collection is vast?

Tapes depend on their magnetic properties to hold the data loaded, so storing a magnet next to them could well upset the information on the tapes
