I live in Vientiane and I can affirm that you can bay a baguette for 0.25 $ to 0.35$ at many places.

You can also buy special FRENCH bread with quality ingredients between 0.35$ and 1.60$ each piece.

I cannot understand the 4 $ ...... it is too much as you can have a baguette filled with anything available at less than 2.50 $ everywhere.
