Finding a home loan for a pre existing 1976 mobile home is very hard to complete. There now a standard for most mobile homes to be fixed to the ground to complete a home loan. They must withstand a 30 year property inspection. There are some lenders as in American General, Wells Fargo, and at one time oak chapel, but I am not sure if oak chapel is still lending. These company have what is called portfolio loans that work specifically for your product. You may have another option is you have good value land.
