Note this is the order of the books in the King James Bible. The original Hebrew scriptures has some of the books in a different order and has different groupings of the books. Also, the Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Bibles have 7 additional books (e.g. Tobit) called deuterocanonical or "apocrypha".

There actually two books that have the same number of chapters. Both of them have 28 chapters, which are the longest books in the New Testaments. The books are Matthew, the first book in the New Testament, and Acts.
