cannot find any information to help. this is my wifes uncle and we are trying to do a famiy tree . this would be most helpful. we think fowl play might have been involved. rassie nicholson killed a man in 1942 in dekalb county close to fort payne, over a woman and then he either took his own life or his life was taken by the police and there are several stories from people around here but we search for the truth. several say that there is no way he could have killed himself because of where the shotgun was, which was proped up on the tree log that he was on. and he was shot with a rifle bullet. please help.
