Question: Your PO may be the one actually telling you that you have to take the class, BUT is he simply carrying out the court's ruling that you take it as part of your probation? If it was a court ruling that you take it, then the PO has no choice in the matter, he is simply following the judge's order. My suggestion would be this: Request a court hearing in front of the judge that granted you the probation sentence. Bring the Psychologist's diagnosis on letterhead stationery stating their opinion and present it to the judge, requesting that the anger management class portion of the order be waived. Do NOT simply fail to show up for the class - that in itself would be a VOP for which you could be revoked.

What are the first signs of a psychopath?

There are many and various first signs just as there are many and various human personality traits. For example, in a psychopath who has a propensity for stealing, the first sign might be the appearance of items on the person's body or in her/ his room that logically don't belong to her/him. Another sign might be flimsy lies intended to explain the presence of those objects. In a psychopath who has uncontrolled and/ or irrational rages, the first sign would probably be a display of this behavior. Some psychopaths show no signs at all of their psychopathy. In about 2002 a man who had been suspected of being a serial murderer of women was arrested after investigators assigned to the case finally collected the evidence they needed to arrest him. He was indeed found guilty. The most shocking facet of the case that emerged in court was neither the number nor the visciouness of the crimes committed, but the fact that the murderer was a happily married family man, the father of two daughters who were adults by the time of the arrest, a pillar of his community, a deacon in his church, and much respected by all who knew him. For a detailed description of a psychopath who remained a functioning member of his community after attacking and leaving for dead two teenage girls who camped in a campground near his town, I recommend Terry Jentz's "Strange Piece of Paradise". The author was one of the victims. Rachel Jacobs California

What do propaganda and censorship have in common?

When propaganda is being used their is an explicit attempt to highlight one aspect of a situation favoured by the person doing the propagandizing. In order for propaganda to be effective the same message needs to get delivered from multiple sources (various media, different government institutions, by public figures, etc...) the message must be straight forward and delivered consistently over a period of time. Competing ideas or positions serve to diminish the impact propaganda and provide more information and perspectives to the public which may not support the propaganda effort. The goal is to put out one opinion and have everyone take on that opinion, having many opinions/perspectives dilutes the propaganda effort. Censorship can be explicit by forcing media and people to not challenge the messages being sent (for example under the threat of arrest) It can be implicit/tacit by privately speaking to key decision makers and getting them on the side of the propaganda, or ridiculing all other options, or for example getting advertisers to stop buying advertising is magazines that don;t support the propaganda position.

Is there anything you can do to force your 23 year old daughter to get help with her drug addiction?

Not really. They are of age. Now if there is a child involved. You can have the child removed and take over the custody of the child, your grandchild, whether temporary or permanent. Also is your daughter living with you? Well stop! You are just giving her a blanket at home. You are giving her a place to be safe with her addiction. You need to change the locks, put her things on the porch and tell her no more. We are done. She gets violent you can call the police department to have her picked up. You do not have to keep your daughter over your roof if she is doing this and it is disrupting the family organization. She is old enough to know better and if she cannot control her substance abuse then it is no longer on you to help her along with it either. That means no more contact with her. NO more money to her NO help what so ever. change your number on your phone and cell phones. Yes you are letting her go but she needs to be at her lowest point and then maybe she will realize i need help. Yes there is the possibility you will lose contact with her and she will only get worse and maybe die. But this is the only way you can do this to let her realize it is over. You are not going to be her hideout to do her drugs in any longer. And well no there is no way to get her to intervention unless she has a parole officer and she is not doing what she is supposed to be doing on parole. Then you need to contact the parole officer of her doings and it will be taken care of from there they will send out an officer to arrest her. That is the only other way.

What makes a serial killer?

Serial Killer is a designation that depicts a person who commits multiple murders in usually the same manner and of the same type. Most serial killers concentrate on a specific appearance of their victims. An example would be the cases involving Ted Bundy where his victims were young females with long brown hair and a slim body structure. Profilers have attributed his penchant for these women as fitting the image of his mother and a female who shunned him.

What are the possible solutions in teenage drug addiction?

Intervention. If you are a friend you need to tell an adult. I don't care if it is your parents, teachers, counselor in school, even your friends' parents. You need to tell someone. Yah your friend may hate you later. But you know what do you want that friend dead and go to a funeral instead? I say sure talk to the friend about it first. But will the friend listen to you? Will they not go off in a rampage? If it is your son or daughter and this is a parent. Then you need to again do intervention. Take them to a counselor, put them in a rehabilitation facility. Either way don't let it continue. Take them to your regular physician and tell them what you want and why explain why and what you may have found out. Or if your regular physician is not available, you need to get them to ER immediately. Don't wait for the doctor's appointment. And if they refuse to go or they refuse to go with you or get violent you have the right to call the police in your state for help and interception. Don't hold your child down, don't force your child, don't hit your child or physically hurt your child. You will be held for child abuse, even if your child hits you. If the child leaves the home lock the doors, if you have to change the locks and tell them until they cooperate with you, you are not cooperating with them and they cannot come home. They become violent at the door, or break the homes windows, call the police. Yes this is tough love. But it has to be done. They have to be helped. usually if you have no want to press charges they will pick them up to take them to the ER knowing they are on illegal substances and will send them into rehabilitation from ER. IF the teenager does not have illegal substances on them, they will not be arrested. They cannot arrest for someone being under the influence as long as they are not operating any vehicles and/or machinery in most states. bottom line; Intervention
