Yes, But they will have crop factor. For example a 28mm wide lens will become a 42mm lens (35mm equivalent). Or a 200mm tele will become a 300mm.
Nikon is a very reputable camera brand. Many photography shops and online retailers sell many different Nikon camera models, including the Nikon D80 camera.

Yes, it will fit. However, you will still need to see if the lens you have has or does not have features like autofocus or CPU connectors that will carry all the info that your camera needs... If it is a Nikon Lens it will work fine. So will others like Sigma, Tamron and Tokina. Carl Zeiss may not give you all the functions but will work in manual mode.
On my nikon d40 it lasts for a long time, when you first got it you should have killed the battery all the way then charged it to the max without unplugging and then your battery should be good.
Nikon all the way, bro.
The D90 shutter is rated for 100,000 actuations. So if you shot 2100 photos per month (which is alot of shooting), you might need to have the shutter serviced for about $65 in 4 years. Of course by that time you would probably want to upgrade to a newer model. This rating is about double the actuation ratings for the low end Nikon, or Canon DSLRs. A pro grade camera might be good for 200,000, or more which puts this model in the mid grade category.
