Why is mercy killing illegal?

Whether or not mercy killing (euthanasia) should be legalised is totally the opinion of whom you are asking. I am in favor of it in certain circumstances, but many other people would be against it in all circumstances, usually due to some fantastical religious belief. So everyone will have a differing opinion depending on who you ask.

Mercy killing, or voluntary euthanize, should not be legal because it has been shown by other countries that it leads to involuntary euthanize. Then it becomes less about the people and health and more about power and wealth.

I think it should be legal but you would have to get permission from the police because what if someone had an uncurable desice and made aganizing pain and they wanted to be put out of there mizzery. That's why it should be legal
