What is a good modeling agency for teens?

That all depends on what area you live in. The most modeling oppertunities are in places like NYC, LA, South Beach, etc. However, there are some in other places. (DC,PA,local) Your 9 year old is most likely in a more commercial market. Some catologues for Macy's, JC Penny, Nordstrom, or other department stores will hire a few younger children to model children's lines.

If you are signed to a modeling agency, you can get booked for commercial/print jobs, or if you are tall (between 5'8"-6'0") then you can get booked for fashion/runway/editorial work. The best way to get modeling work is to have agency representation.

If you have had experience in modelling, the best thing to do would be to build up your portfolio (a book of pictures of you in photo shoots, to show which styles suit you best). It is quite common for models to take modelling classes, and you can research about ones in your area. If you go to modelling classes, people will then be able to tell you if you fit the requirements of a certain type of model, and perhaps even recommend you to a contact!
