You are probably needed a new powers supply/charger. I would first check to see if the power supply/charge is working by testing it on another computer. If you don't have another computer to test, try some local computer shops, they might check it for free. My shop always test power supply for customers for free. If it comes out to be bad, then you would need to order a new one. If it comes out to be good, then i would take a look at the battery. That might be going as batteries only last for so long.
