My boyfriend and I always use a condom but he never pulls out before he ejaculates and I am experiencing many of the early pregnancy symptoms. Is it possible I could be pregnant?

Pregnancy Using the Withdrawal Method

Yes it's possible. The chances are very slim but people want to instill the fear in you that there is a chance of pregnancy, which there is, albeit small. If you want to NEVER worry about getting pregnant, don't have sex.

Withdrawal is NOT a method of birth control, YES you can get pregnant.

Pulling out or Withdrawal

A guy might say he won't come inside you, and he may mean it. But, even if he does pullout before coming you can still get pregnant. If any come or pre-come gets into your vagina, the sperm in that fluid can swim all the way to the fallopian tubes.

Pre-come is the drop of fluid that often leaves the penis before the man actually comes. Biologically, it's a guy's natural lubrication. Sperm (and possibly the HIV virus) may be in that lube.

This method DOES NOT work to prevent pregnancy or STI transmission.

Withdrawal CAN get you pregnant - You may as well use nothing.

The first responder is quite wrong: Withdrawal is one of the easiest ways to get pregnant, short of actual, full intercourse (the pregnancy rate for that is at least 90%!). The last responder, who mentioned the pre-"cum" or "Pre-ejaculate", which contains sperm, AND the fact that guys can NOT control this, nor ejaculating accidentally inside, was correct.

As a sex ed teacher, I can assure you that I have known too many girls who used the withdrawal NON-method and got pregnant! Either don't have sex, or get on the Pill or at least use a condom (90% effective)! Hint: when I polled my male students whether they would use a condom if the girl said "no sex without it!", almost 100% of them said they WOULD use a condom. So don't listen when they say they "can't" or "won't"!

regardless of the argument as to whether or not precum contains sperm which at times it does and other times it does not withdrawal is still not a very effective method of birth control. it may be 82% protective if and this is a huge if it is done 100% right 100% of the time. that is almost an impossibility especially ins ituations where the guy is young and or inexprienced, they can not control it as well as they think they can or as well as they may lead you to believe they can. why would anybody come on this site and advocate withdrawal when condoms are so easy to get.
