My dad used to be a goth but didn't listen to black metal which is what all the want to be goths nowadays listen to what is a real goth?

There really isn't such thing as "real goth" but people call themselves goth which in some cases are fine. Because everyone is goth in very different ways. But to me personally, I have a goth friend and I would say goth is: Someone who will always have their hair in their face or will wear black a lot.
Most goths nowadays are Satanist, believing the Satan, and worshiping him. Goths are also known for scandal ism and most hate school, life, people etc.
Most goths I know even think about Burning down the school.
That's the most accurate and specific I could get, due to I do not really label, but I've been called a Scene Kid.

goths like black, and lace. Lots and lots of black and lace. Maybe some baggy jeans, either that or black skinnny jeans. They wear skulls, get body piercings, wear converse, black, dont forget. They have many piercings on their ears, they listen to punk, rock, etc....they watch a LOT of anime and read a LOT of manga,and they wear black/gothic jewlery.

Goths can listen to whatever music they want as long as they also listen to some actual goth music. If you want to listen to Slipknot, you can, just be sure you also have something like The Cure, The Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus, or Siouxie and the Banshees on your iPod.

according to me, goths are just those who prefer wearing black and their type of fashion. Goths are not satanists.Goths are more intelligent than the other stereotypes, they have a higher 1Q. Nobody made themselves goths, they are being themselves, which is goth. They have their own unique style. there is nothin wrong with goths. im one and not all goths are cristians or antichrist but i happen to be an antichrist. so wot theres nothing wrong wid it. i still have to learn about god in my lesoons at school but i dont really listen (cristans dont take this as afence). soz if spell things wrong
Why do people think goths are crazy?
Maybe because goths seem to have a habit of wearing worshipping black...this is just a phrase...but most goths today are seen in black clothes, black leather, black lipstick, eyeliner, hair...etc... or maybe its because goths arent the sme from everyone else soo people assume they are strange but infact they are just a little different.
