My divorce decree forbids me to cohabitate with my new partner or the house will be sold can my boyfriend still sleep over night in the house?

Answer

I'm not a lawyer, but I simply don't understand how it's possible you have the house, but are told who you can and can't have in your home. You need to discuss this more with your lawyer. No, you shouldn't let your boyfriend sleep over-night. If you feel like sleeping together then after going out get a motel or hotel, but follow the divorce decree to the letter unless you want to lose the house.

I am hoping Mackey may see this and give you more advice. This divorce decree sounds very odd to me.
