No.There is no such thing as a gay voice you are stereotyping and generalizing people.

Possibly. It's one of those stereotypes that oftentimes does prove to be telling...not always though. Some gay men assibilate, meaning they have a slight hissing pronunciation of 's,' 'z,' and 'sh.' I'm a lesbian (with a deeper than the average girl voice) and have found my gaydar for men and women to be pretty dead on, using voice as one of the most revealing signals.
