My ipod touch will connect to other routers but it won't connect to mine what can i do to make it connect?

First, make sure your router is actually working and functioning properly. Second, make sure that your router is in a high enough location so the iPod Touch can find it. Finally, just check to see if it will work. (The range of the router can be set, too, which could also affect your iPod's connectivity with that router).
