Plant cells have chloroplast and cellulose outer walls. Animal cells do not have these features. The genetic translation from DNA to RNA and the subsiquent transcription to proteins results in different proteins as well in many cases. Also most plant cells have several times the genetic content of that of animal cells.

Good luck...

What are the three structural differences between a typical animal cell and a typical green plant cell?

The three differences between typical plant and animal cells involve plant cells having something that animal cells lack. Two of these three differences, the vacuole and the cell wall, are both designed for support and strength for the overall structure of the plant. The third difference, the chloroplast, is a more mechanical difference, as it allows the plants to photosynthesize.
