I would think you would have exchanged each other's email address'. If you've received an email from him then click on it and reply (under a different subject line). There is more than online dating and if you were that close you may even have each other's phone numbers. There's two choices for you.

I would also think that if he really wanted to get in touch with you he would continue to do so on the site his father disapproved of when his father wasn't around. That's what teens seem to do ... the opposite of what their parents tell them! LOL Be careful this guy isn't making up an excuse and has decided he doesn't want to continue on with the relationship with you any longer.
