The best Nikon is the Nikon cool pix. It shoots video as well as regular pictures in the clearest quality. They are very modern and offer the best for your money.
Yes, when video is performed in low light you will see the dead or stuck pixel issue. Mine had a bright red pixel in the lower center and also a green one in the upper right. I could not accept this when my Nikon d5000 didn't have any issues.
The D3S from Nikon shoots HD video, it is one of the newer models, it takes great quality pics and video and falls sort of in the mid price range for the SLR models, I highly recommend it
no. most of them will have a video feature but at very poor quality, you will be VERY lucky to find one with decent quality. for example my $800 nikon CDC has video, but its almost useless because it has such bad quality, HOWEVER my mothers Olympus which was around the $250 mark had really good quality. hope that helps :)
I don't think that "inferior" is the correct term. Really they are targetted at different markets. The major advantage of the D90 is that it has an internal AF motor so can focus on any AF Nikkor lens. The D5000 requires an AF-S lens to do the same thing. Other considerations are more external control buttons and wheels on the D90 and higher shutter lifespan. The one thing that the D5000 has that the D90 does not is the swivel LCD screen. Since I don't use live view at all, the swivel does nothing for me, but someone who uses it, especially for video may find it useful.
I recommend you to see Youtube Video about Nikon D60 and you'll get know of all Nikon D60 Advantages.
It depends on the quality of the recoding device. For example, a low-quality cell phone camera will have far fewer pixels than a high-end digital camera so an image from the phone will have much poorer resolution (pixels per sq. cm.)
If you are purchasing a new camera for home movies, I would suggest getting a digital camera like Nikon that can record video because digital video cameras are very expensive. That would be the cheaper route to go.
Yes it does. The Nikon Coolpix S220 can take video at up to 640x480 resolution.
The Nikon Coolpix L120 has video. It is the read red button.
