actually, WiLL, there IS and island 4, to get there, one has to beat the elite four. have more than 60 pokemon, get the national dex from oak. after, you have to go to island 1. swim up to mt. ember, beat the two rocket grunts, which is very easy of course, go in the cave and find the ruby. after, give it to celio in the pokecenter in island 1 and he will give you a rainbow ticket pass. which enables you to travel to island 4 -7. and the day care is on island 4.
Well its quite simple actually alot of people think/say it is at four island or island four but the islands stop at 3! so there is a place just outside cerulean city where you can find it...good luck
