Matthew chapter 6

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Yes for sure.

"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,

I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?

When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

The Bible (KJV) nowhere specifically says the words, "only what you do for God will last." However, that said, there are two places in the New Testament that convey a notion related to that theme.

I Corinthians 3:10-15

Revelation 20:11-15

Jesus Himself had something to say about how folks will fare if they do what He said (Matthew 7:24,25) ... and if they don't (Matthew 7:26,27).

The phrase isn't, but the intended meaning is.

I Corinthians 3:11 - 13 "For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work."

There is not a Bible verse that states "Only what you do for Christ will last." This idea is taken from a verse found in Corinthians.
2Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

and similar thoughts in 1Corinthians:

1Corinthians 3:11- 15 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,
each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

The message behind these verses is that believers in Christ should focus on pleasing the Lord, realizing that there is no eternal value in the things of the world.

There is a poem, written by CT Studd a missionary and pastor, that has the phrase you are asking about.

Only One Life
By C.T. Studd

Two little lines I heard one day,
Traveling along life's busy way;
Bringing conviction to my heart,
And from my mind would not depart;
Only one life, 'twill soon be past,
Only what's done for Christ will last.

Only one life, yes only one,
Soon will its fleeting hours be done;
Then, in 'that day' my Lord to meet,
And stand before His Judgement seat;
Only one life,'twill soon be past,
Only what's done for Christ will last.

Only one life, the still small voice,
Gently pleads for a better choice
Bidding me selfish aims to leave,
And to God's holy will to cleave;
Only one life, 'twill soon be past,
Only what's done for Christ will last.

Only one life, a few brief years,
Each with its burdens, hopes, and fears;
Each with its clays I must fulfill,
living for self or in His will;
Only one life, 'twill soon be past,
Only what's done for Christ will last.

When this bright world would tempt me sore,
When Satan would a victory score;
When self would seek to have its way,
Then help me Lord with joy to say;
Only one life, 'twill soon be past,
Only what's done for Christ will last.

Give me Father, a purpose deep,
In joy or sorrow Thy word to keep;
Faithful and true what e'er the strife,
Pleasing Thee in my daily life;
Only one life, 'twill soon be past,
Only what's done for Christ will last.

Oh let my love with fervor burn,
And from the world now let me turn;
Living for Thee, and Thee alone,
Bringing Thee pleasure on Thy throne;
Only one life, 'twill soon be past,
Only what's done for Christ will last.

Only one life, yes only one,
Now let me say,"Thy will be done";
And when at last I'll hear the call,
I know I'll say "twas worth it all";
Only one life,'twill soon be past,
Only what's done for Christ will last.

Can someone be blessed to have the heart of God?

Christians are really blessed as they have not only the heart of God, but the Spirit of Jesus Christ: as the Scripture says in: Colossians 1.27 the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

What is the scripture that says God you live and God you die?

There is no scripture that says that God dies.

Are there any Psalms in the Bible that say something like when your last on earth your first in Heaven?

No, but for the true believer in Christ, the Scripture says: "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8.

How do you avoid sorrow?

In this life there is no way to totally avoid sorrow, as it is part of life and part of this world. The scripture says "there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother" that friend is Jesus Christ. For those who trust Christ as savior not only do they have the assurance of forgiveness of sin and eternal life, but the promise that Christ will help them through all the difficulties of this life. To a lost person (Someone who has not paced their faith in Christ and been saved) the scripture defines then as "Having no hope and without God in the world. For God to help you you must become a Christian so he can you become his child through faith in Christ. Until then you are lost and do not know God and the only help you will get from him is to be Saved.

The temptations of Christ represent the sin that is in man, for Jesus was tempted as we are, as the Scripture says in Hebrews 4.15. - For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin.

Which scripture says weaker and wiser?

Perhaps the scripture is Matthew 10:16 which reads: "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be ye therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves." These are the words of Jesus Christ, as written in the King James Version of the Holy Bible.

Why is the holy spirit god?

After Jesus was crucified and he arose again, he had told the disciples that he would send the holy ghost in his place as a comforter and guide. The scripture says the Holy Spirit is God. Scripture never differentiates between ones spirit and ones-self. For a specific scripture reference go to Romans 8:1-27. In this section of scripture you can see that "God," "The Spirit" and "Christ" are interchangeable.

How can Jesus be God when it's a known fact that he was created by God through Angel Gabriel when HE breath to Mary?

Scripture includes no record of God creating Jesus through any angels or any other entity. Scripture says that Christ was with God in the beginning, before creation (John 1). Scripture goes on to say that Christ left heaven and was born as a human of the Holy Spirit through Mary, who would call the baby by the name of Jesus.
