You will need a pretty good scan tool and you cant disable it you can only increase the limit. I wouldn't do this or you will run a better chance of blowing up your engine.
The speaker size is 6 1/2"I bought Speakers from Sonic Electrinix and if you type in the vehicle model information if gives you the correct size. The speakers did fit.
