PS3 pes 2008 registration code just bought a secondhand copy and whilst trying to reg to play online it tells you that the code provided with game has already been used?

The code was probably used by the previous owner. I'd call the game company -- or write them -- and explain that the previous owner has transferred all rights to his limited license to the game over to you -- send them a copy of the receipt if they want (you might not want to put the registration code in writing). However, depending on the game's Terms Of Service (TOS) exchange of limited license may be prohibited (although oddly legal within copyright law -- go figure). If so, you may have to buy a new game or get the code from the prior user.
