The best places for a first date allow you to talk to the person. Movies or concerts require you toconcentrate on something other then your love interest. First dates are best made on a casual setting. Something that allows you to show and see what this person is like in everyday life. * Walk in a park, beach, or hiking trail. Conclude with a trip for ice cream or a fruit smoothie. * A Baseball game or some type of sporting event that allows you to speak casually throughout. * The book store - You can really learn about a persons interests and personality by what type of reading material they like. Larger chain booksellers have books, magazines, and music. Pick one with a cafe and have coffee. * A trip to a festival or carnival. Don't try to win them a prize unless you are prepared to be embarrassed when you can't. * Dinner, but this is always the first date. Be creative. If you are a young man, and going to bring her flowers, give them at her home so she can put them in water. There is nothing worse then wilted flowers by the end of a date. Don't buy roses because all men do. If there is plastic wrap on it, make sure the price tag is off. Even better, take the plastic off and see if someone at the flower shop can wrap it in tissue paper. It looks better and grocery store flowers aren't romantic.
If you are looking for someplace different to go on a first date than the traditional dinner and movies, you need to find out if the both of you have any common interests. Do you like the outdoors or do you like art galleries? Doing something that you both like can be a good way to get to know each other. There is an activity to keep the conversation going. Start with something that will allow you plenty of time to talk, while doing something that you both enjoy.
Go to public places.
At www.nyc.com you can look up multiple first date locations. These locations are also public enough for you to be able to make a safe exit in case your date is a jerk. Unfortunately all cities have them.
You could maybe go to the arcade, go out to eat at places like Taco Bell, (not too fancy).
Well if it's a first date I would say the movies or go for a walk if it's Been a while I would take her or him for dinner or just keep it a simple he or she comes over
