I'm going to take a stab that it is the "Limp Home" mode. A sensor is telling the ECU that there is something majorly wrong and it enables this mode so that any damage that may be caused is minimal. It does this so that the vehicle may still be driven to the home or to the repair shop.
what might cause the engine on a 2000 Isuzu rodeo to burn oil 1/2 quart of oil every 300 miles
I had same problem with my 2001 Isuzu rodeo sport with 53K miles.......and just put a new battery in and presto, no more abs light.....I think if your battery is weak (does the car have any problems starting and is electrical good?), it will trigger the abs light.....it did on mine.
its 80,000 miles on the 1.7cdti (isuzu)engine. It might be 80,000 on the 1.7cdti Fiat engine but the 1.7dti is Isuzu and chain driven - should never need changing!
I currently have the same thing and it is a defective battery (the one on the nearside). After a couple of miles it had charged up enough for the lights to go out but I will be buying a new battery tomorrow.
on average 60,000 miles
The 1995 Isuzu Rodeo has a curb weight of 4,110 pounds. The vehicle gets 15 miles per gallon in the city and 18 miles per gallon on the highway.
The total mileage life for a 2001 Trooper will depend on the maintenance as well as driving habits. Some troopers might wear out at just over 120,000 miles while others could last over 200,000 miles.
It might help to know 49000 what! Inches, miles, micrometres, light years?
yes, they are known for getting over 300,000 miles on them!
did you check the batteries
The distance that light travels in a vacuum in one year, approximately 9.46 trillion kilometers or 5.88 trillion miles. Thus, the distance light can travel in 15 years is more than 88 trillion miles.
