Hi there, I just did my passenger side rear brake hose. I have rear drums and just made sure the sliding plate at the adjuster was rust free. I took my grinder a lightly ground the mating face. I also made sure that every spring was on correctly.
Hope that helps
Under the hood, driver side.
Should be at the firewall on driver's side in front of brake booster
Far, driver side of the dash panel.
Master cylinder, under hood, driver's side, firewall.
Look on the firewall driver's side
It is under the dash on the driver side, Behind the parking brake pedal on the firewall.
brake fluid leaking from a brake drum indicates the brake slave cylander on that wheel is leaking and needs to be replaced you will not see the actual leak with out removing the brake drum
Under the hood, far driver side, up near the windshield.
Brake fluid for the Caravan is labeled as a "DOT 3" fluid.
On the driver side of the firewall. there is a reservoir. Depending on the year it could have one yellow cap or two black caps.
A 1999 Dodge Caravan uses DOT 3 brake fluid.
depends on how much money you're willing to spend on it for repairs. I have a 01 caravan with original engine and transmission and it has 286,000 and only recently started costing money.***I have a 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan with 252,000 miles and going strong. Transmission replaced at 175,000 miles. Water pump and driver power window motor replaced. Of course, struts replaced. Parking brake lost its mojo at about 240,000 miles. No engine problems at al. No A/C problems. I expect to drive this car to 300,000 miles.
