The agent of socialization is anything that affects an individual and the society at large. Some common agents of socialization include parents, culture education, religion and so much more.
Agents of socialization are ways that a person learns to adjust or adapt to society or a culture. These agents can be family, which is the most popular, mass media, school, and peers. Music falls under mass media. Many people relate to music and use it as an outlet or as well as answers to their many problems in life. Examples are if a churchgoer has a bad day and start to question their faith, they may turn to gospel music for some kind of fullfillment. Music can also be a negative agent of socialization as well. Explicit lyrics or suggestive undertones can be very influential in a youths mind.
