Saber tooth tiger eneimes?

the north american saber-tooth or smilodon fatalis and the larger south american saber-tooth (smilodon populator) had many contemporaries which would have posed as much a threat to them as they posed in turn, including the short faced bear, the american lion, the dire wolf, the grey wolf, the brown bear, and the clovis peoples, in south america there were terror birds which posed a danger to cubs and the enormous ground sloths, megatherium which could easily dispatch even the largest of cats. there were also a number of smaller but still bear to rhino sized ground sloth species which could have been a threat as well. i answered the same question somewher else on here if you want to check that out too.
