You might check your local library for old catalogs.
Nothing to about 10.00 for a reprint. It isn't original and an book merchant might buy it .
Proofhouse.com has a store brand cross reference chart that might help you.
it might also be a marlin, but try any local gun show
I HAVE THE SAME 22 RIFLE, I ALSO AM LOOKING FOR THE DATE WHEN IT WAS MANUFACTURED. http://www.histandard.info/PDF/Sears%20Rifles.pdf might help you with your question.
It's actually a J.C. Higgins sold by Sears in the early 50's, the 51 might have actually been the year they sometimes do models like that. In good condition it's $250 near the excellent to new $500+ I, rclark137@cox.net , have a rifle with Sears & Roebuck engraved on barrel. It has Belgion (mouser) bolt action 30-06. I'm looking for history of this sports rifle. Thanks
The Sears Model #41 was made by Marlin Firearms and was a duplicate of their M# 101. This model was discontinued by Marlin in the late 1970's. You might try your local gun shop as a starting point.
Check EBAY and other online auction houses, or try a gun collectors store in your community. They may not have one, but might be more capable of telling you how to find one.
Manufactured by Stevens for Sears Roebuck. Worth $25 to $75, depending on condition. Might break $100 if still in factory-new condition.
In very good condition, it might be worth a couple of hundred to someone. A lot of shotgunners still prefer "doubles", and the Sears retailed shotguns with the model prefix "101.7" were made by Stevens - a highly respected manufacturer.
The Blue Book of Gun Values has a store brand chart that might help.
Sears often offers coupons in their sales ads and on their website. Look on the Craftsman website itself as well, as they might offer manufacture coupons which can be combined with the ones from Sears.
