Should 2 people from Mexico married in Las Vegas NV get a divorce in the US if they have not being together for over 7 years and one of them has remarried twice in Mexico? |

Opinion: If the US marriage has not been disolved (in one jurisdiction or another) you are still married-- irrespective of the time passed. The two marriages in Mexico are likely invalid unless the above dissolution has occurred. There might be a number of choices available for dissolving the marriage 1) you could get a divorice in Nevada 2) you could get a divorice in the US state in which you reside or 3)the Mexican resident can likely get a divorice in the Mexican state in which he/she resides if residency requirements are met. Residency requirements usually come in to play to restrict other options.
I am an attorney I know of a somewhat similar situation which was finally settled after literally decades.... you've got yourself a real mess.
