I completely believe that kittens' nails shouldn't be cut because, when they need it, they pull off old layers when needed. When I'm walking round the house I often find claws on the floor, discarded. This is natural because, when they scratch at things, they are sharpening their claws, and when his claws have been sanded down a lot, they become too small. At this stage, it is easy and painless for him to pull them off. You should not cut the claws off the poor kitten, because you don't know if they are ready yet.

it depends I personally don't believe in taking out a cats nails but I think it is ok to have them cut every once in a while when they get really sharp (a cat's nails can never get too long). Like the person above me said cats do shed a layer of their nails to make them sharp but I have never heard of the cat being able to pull off the actual nail. I would just call a veterinarian clinic (its free, just ask a couple questions) and ask about it and what age is the best to get them trimmed, etc. Again I strongly suggest you don't get your cats nails taken out (just trimmed) because they can become insecure, mean etc. actually getting the nails surgically removed is equivalent to having a humans fingers cut off.

I would trim a cat's nails when they have become too sharp. If you do this to a cat they have no weapons if they ever get in a fight.
Yes. A good rule of thumb for trimming nails is don't trim past the pink part, else the nail will bleed and get infected. If you worry about harming your animal, try taking it to a groomer to have it's nails trimmed. This service is also commonly offered with a checkup at your vet's office.
Yes, you can, but you should be careful as ever because sometimes you can't see the blood-vessels running through them when they're young. It's best to have a groomer or vet handle that for you.
It's a good idea to trim your cat's nails on a regular basis, but no, it's not absolutely necessary. Sometimes when their claws get too long, they can split (it's like the kitty-kat equivalent of a hangnail), but if that happens, you can just trim that particular claw.
Also, when you bring your cat to the vet for a checkup, the veterinary assistants typically give them a nail-trimming. So, if you're taking your cat in for regular checkups, it's going to get done at least once or twice a year, anyway.
My cats are really, really horrible about getting their nails trimmed. I simply cannot do it myself; my brother even tried helping me one time, and the two of us together couldn't do it. They have free nail-trimming services at my vet's office, every Thursday afternoon, but with work and everything, it's hard to find time to take them. So the result is that my cats only get their nails trimmed five or six times a year, at most. And their paws are perfectly healthy.
So, it's a good idea to get it done from time to time, but it's not strictly necessary, no.
Well I you want you should but just remember if you trim them they will never grow back, I hope this helped you!! :)
Yes, and no, they WILL grow back, as long as you only trim the tip, not the quick, because if you cut the quick it will bleed and hurt and THEN it might not grow back. But just be careful to trim only the tip and you'll be fine. :)
Clipping a cat's nails is not a simple job, as the edges of the nails have to remain smooth to allow claws to be retracted. It is also tricky because, even with his paw held still, a cat will still extend and retract his claws, making it difficult to clip them in the correct place. Typically, you only want to clip off the very end, to make them dull, while leaving most of the length. Normally, it is not required, but it is one option, and a far less controversial one, to declawing, which can make cats psychotic.
It is not necessary but its better if you did. The cat could cut itself while grooming, rip furniture, or even hurt you. So it is better off if you do.
yes because it is very important
Don't, there is no need to trim a cats claws.
Well you should'NT even trim your cats claws because when thy get long and sharp, cats pull off their own claws when they are ready and this doesn't cause and pain for them. But if you trim them they might not be ready and this can hurt them.
No. Cats may have different colours or claw sizes but they will always be the same claws... unless you're thinking of the same exact claws on your cats claws then all cats do not share claws.
cats have four claws on their back paws and five claws on their front paws.
They are a kitten born with sharp teeth and claws. The kittens I have seen pictures of show an all white copy of the parents. Beautiful cats.
