best bet is to buy a new for one they do not require a core charge and plus u get a lifetime warranty. now if u think u will sell the vehicle soon the by all means get the used or remanufactured, which means u get a one year warranty which is great if u r going to sell it.i have worked in a parts store for 4 years the new is the best way to go if u r going to keep the vehicle.
