It really depends on how much you are wanting to spend. The IPad2 is just a buffed up version of the original IPad, and while that sounds good there is already talk of an IPad3 to be released by the end of this year.
Pro to an IPad:
It has access to the app store.
You can put music on it and listen to it wherever.
It has the fasted processing speed on any Apple product.
The battery lasts around 10 hours.
It is considered the best tablet on the market right now.
Cons to an IPad:
No USB support.
Terrible Camera.
No flash support.
The screen is the same as the old one.
A laptop is a much better choice(depending on if it is a Windows laptop or a Macbook)
Pros to a Windows Laptop:
Flash support.
Support for almost every single game on the market( a few games are Linux only and their free, but if you don't know what Linux is then I wont get into that)
Open to almost any kind of software.
Can be converted to a Mac if wanted.
Upgradeable.
Some come with cameras.
Cons:
If you don't know what your doing you might spend a lot of money for a very bad laptop.
The battery life is very short.
Most are fragile and if dropped wont last the drop.
This depends largely on your needs, if you are just looking for a device with a touch screen that is interactive, easy to use and portable get an i Pad. However if you are wanting to do large amounts of typing, proper gaming or music and video editing and production then a powerful laptop will be more suitable. A cheap laptop or i pad will suit you if you are just wanting to do facebook ect.
No unless it's a library with a laptop babysitting service. If your laptop means anything to you don't leave it unattended. You should be able to watch your own belongings

In the case, near my laptop.
Carry the laptop in a padded case designed for the purpose.
It uses the battery upon number of charges. Don't leave your laptop out too much to save battery. Use your laptop saving key methods to save more battery.

my friend please! get a laptop cooler! i have one, always have had, people dont realize it, but its a HUGE problem! Do not leave your laptop on the bed covering the tiny airvents underneath your laptop, otherwise it will over heat! And this causes serious problems, its why laptops slow down and eventually crash. Most of the times computers dont have viruses, people think their computers are riddled with them, but no, they are simply COOKED.
please
Please Don't Leave Me - album - was created in 1982-12.
I usually leave it plugged in if I can, because why not keep your battery charged?
"Please leave!" in English is Si prega di partire! in Italian.
Say. Hey! Can we have some privacy please, And if they don't leave, just go away. If they follow you, go into your house or her house. That should work.
