Should you get an MBA after an engineering education even before you have job experience? |
Answer
Engineering is very much helpful for MBA student to know and understand all the technical aspects in a better way.No doubt work exerience help a lot in MBA but MBA for an Engineer means a better, suitable and stable job.
Answer
An MBA only helps an enginer if they are wanting to go into management. And even at that it is not strictly necessary. I'd suggest getting the experience first: perhaps you'll really like design in which case an M.Eng. or M.A.Sc. would be more useful than an MBA. And even if you do go for an MBA, work experience will serve you well. Furthermore, if your employer really likes you they may help foot the bill. So it's a no-lose situation.
