i am wondering the same thing. the first time it flared up, i had a massive blister on the outside of my gums right above the tooth. i rinsed my mouth out with salt water many times a day, and also dry tea bags can help with the pain if put directly on the effected spot, second time which has flared u recently, is now in the roof og my mouth, a much larger effected area, my tooth was still fortunatly one of my baby tooth, so if you are crazy like me, try your best to suck it up, get something to squeeze, and be prepared for a lil bit of pain for awhile, and try to make you tooth loose, not pull it out, just loose, wait until the sweeling of the abcess goes down like i am, once that happens, im going to proceed to remove the tooth. Peroxide 1.5% and a combination of olive oil can apperently disinfect and reduce pain.i would not recomend it this way unless it is your last option. Good luck to you, i feel you pain lol.
