I have the same thing. In mine it seems to be a noise from the bypass valve near the firewall. I have found nothing to fix this issue for good. However if it happens alot you can reduce the occurance, duration, and intensity by reducing the ammount of refrigerant in the system. However this will reduce the effeciency as well. So for my car it is a balancing game, during the dead of summer I add refrigerant to get more noise and cool air, after the heat of summer I remove half a can and store it in my garage untill the next summer.
