Tenderize Boneless Chicken Breasts?

Answer

There are all sorts of marinades to tenderize boneless chicken. One of my favorites is putting the raw chicken breasts into just plain 7-up or ginger ale and let sit. Also wine is a good marinade along with a little garlic. Vinegar will also break down the fibers of chicken.

All chicken whether whole or pieces should be put into a large bowl or a clean sink with cold water and a 1/2 a cup of salt. Leave for 20 minutes to half an hour and then rinse the chicken or chicken pieces well. This not only kills any bacteria on the chicken, but also tenderizes it. Doing it this way you can cook the chicken and when it's done, put it under the broiler and use Ranch Dressing, Honey, Orange Juice or any other type of glazing method (keep a close eye on it because it will burn quickly.)
