yes there is a button that i believe comes on the bottom bar on the menu that says ipod
In the Main menu there is a button that says Mods on it.
Disconnect your iPhone and turn it off by holding the "Sleep/Wake" button for about five seconds and then slide the red slider. If your iPhone is already off, there's no need to turn it on and then off again. Once it's off, press and hold the "Home" button and plug your iPhone into a Mac or PC with iTunes installed. Keep holding the "Home" button until you see a dock cable pointing to the iTunes icon. iPhones running older software will display a yellow triangle and text which says "Please Connect to iTunes". Once you see this image, you can release the Home button. This puts your iPhone in "Restore" mode. I don't think there is a "safe" mode for iPhone.

If its an iPhone then download iTunes (if you haven't already) and plug both of them in using a USB charger. Then sync the apps off you iPod on to the computer, then simply click and drag them into where it says iPhone.
1. Power down the iPhone anyway you can. 2. Connect it to the computer with the usb while holding down the home button. 3. Keep holding until the it says it is in recovery mode. 4. Done
Hold the sleep button until it says 'slide to power off' and then slide the red box to the right.
You can only get a new text message ringtone if you jailbreak your iPhone.
