The divine right of kings implies that?

Answer:
The Divine Right of Kings was a bizarre idea that suggested that God chooses who becomes king. It is very old- the Egyptian Pharaohs believed roughly the same- as did the Inca Kings etc. It's only as religion has become more "mild" in the public domain over the last 200 years or so that this idea has been rubbished. After all, you wouldn't hear the Queen on Christmas Day thanking God that He chose her to rule would you?!
