Aperature: controls amount of light on specimen
Lamp: controls light
On/Off switch: turns microscope on and off
Objective lenses: allows different kinds of magnification; low, high, and medium power
High lens: 40x magnification
Medium:10x magnification
Low: 4x magnification this is all without eyepiece with it
Slide: holds the specimen
Coarse knob: allows for overall focus of specimen
Fine knob: allows for fine-tunig and perfection for focus and clarity control of the view of the specimen.
Arm: holds up the eyepiece and nospiece and objective lenses
Legs/base: holds up the entire microscope
Plug: controls whether lamp turns on or not
