One possibility could be a calcium deposit- but of course should be checked by a health professional. I have a rather large lump on my forehead that just appeared about five days ago. It started as a lump above my eyebrow, a small one, then spread to my nose, and now is on my forehead. I just got back from a walk-in clinic less than 10 minutes ago and she said that it might be a deviated septum. The septum is the bottom part of your nose that splits it into two nostrils, and if it is turned to the side, it can cause build-up, which might be what I am experiencing. I am going in for an X-ray, possibly tomorrow, I'll post the results when I have them. I'm not exactly sure if this is your problem, but that's what it sounds like to me. I had similar problem but was relieved when my doctor told my that my brain was expanding; thus causing a fissure in my skull. Nevertheless, not cosmetically pleasing to the eye.

That depends on what it is. No one can diagnose you online. The bump may be a pimple, a cyst, or a tumor. Treatment can only be determined after you are evaluated by a medical professional. In person. ~ T

If you bump your forehead and it comes and goes and is soft that is good. It just means it was a surface bump.

A hard painless bump could be a sist, or a calcium deposit and can be removed by a doctor
