It's not usual to bury survivors. Apparently they generally object to this practice.

This is the age old riddle - survivors are alive so you do not bury them . However to kill it off - when they do kick the bucket they are buried in accordance with [a] their wishes or [b] the Executors direction. Unless they are cremated.
