The preferred accreditation is a regional accreditation, because the standards are higher. In addition, you should always choose a college or university with a regional accreditation. With a regional accreditation you can be assured the coursework ad degree you complete will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as employers. This is of particular importance should you pursue a higher degree at a later date. Regionally accredited school will not accept credit from schools with other accreditations.
