i dont think so- yes some illnes and death is terrible but its an option to chew or smoke tobacco. holding them responsible is like crying when the fire burns you-- it was your choice to play with the fire.
Yes. They should be at least! They probably know that it is killing people based on what we have known for quite some time now. So if they are going to continue to make ciggarets and junk with tabacco, it is like they are saying, "Come on! Everyone else is killing themselves with these! You should, too!" They should be held responsible.
I don't believe so. They are selling a product that is clearly labelled as a health risk. The consumer is informed and fully aware of the risk that they are taking by utilizing the product. If tobacco companies were held liable than that would open the door for many other lawsuits such as; alcohol producers, manufacturers of guns, ammunition, automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, ect. The list is endless. If a person uses tobacco products, that is their choice and they are ultimately responsible for the negative consequences. I doubt that there is a single adult in the US that is unaware of the health risks involved.
Because there to lasy to handle all of the sick people and they don't have enough money too.
No, a person who smokes is responsible for anything they smoke. Tobacco companies do not force people to smoke, and therefore are not responsible for that person's illness or death.
Death.
Yes.
"There are many different insurance companies out there, such as MetLife and American General, that offer accidental death insurance. The best way to find accidental death insurance is to contact insurance companies that provide life insurance and contact them for the rates and the terms that the insurance will be paid out should an accidental death occur."
Death and stupidity.

A wrongful death law suit is a common law suit against a party that may be held liable for a death. They can be brought by families who have not been able to get justice through criminal law, or where a death is caused by negligence or other causes. For instance, wrongful death suits have been pursued against tobacco companies.

Depends on the circumstances, if said tobacco company actually caused the death of a parent then yes. But if said parent was a smoker then no because tobacco is known to be harmful and they are agreeing to those terms by smoking. goodluck
In the extreme, both alcohol and tobacco can lead to death, so...at least in that sense...they are equally harmful.
Tobacco use is the single leading preventable cause of death in the US.
yes, tobacco can effect puberty because it causes you to stop growing and that is serious. it can also lead you to death.
