Clean the 1994 Sable transmission at a car wash. This will make it easier to find the leak. Keeping the fluid full, check the transmission frequently to see where the leak is.

try the cool line fitting from the radiator to the transmission i just had that problem on a 1994 mercury Sometimes you can leak out of the tailhousing of your transmission if the housing seal is slightly damaged
You run the engine till warm then look underneath and see if the pump is leaking. A faulty pump leak is very visible in Taurus/Sable.
I have a 1998 Sable that has had the same problem. Every time it has been caused by a leak in a vacume tube. It has been replaced 3 times now on my car.
Take it to a garage. It can leak at several places and there are seals that can be installed to stop the leaks.

sounds like a leak in your transmission cooler lines. check the smaller hoses going to the radiator usually the bottom.
This is transmission fluid. The leak is at the transmission cooler which may be part of the radiator.
It's possible a seal has broken. Find where it leaks from, could be pump, hose or steering ram. Then replace part.
