Why not? Ireland is a great Island with interesting people. I've been in Cork and Dublin and they're both worth a visit. Dublin city has a wealth of history and culture to immerse yourself - Dublin castle, Trinity college, book of kells - even the Guinness storehouse is worth a visit.
If you're into sailing and even if you're not West Cork is a beautiful. tranquil. coastal area to visit.
