24 year old graduate of Concord U. with a magna cum laude degree in Graphic Design/Advertising and minor in Studio Art. Single mother of a 2 year old boy in southern WV. Knowledge and trivia junkie. News and reality show addict. I read anything and everything, particularly thrillers and lots of nonfiction and reference books.

Even though I had a graphic design degree, when I became pregnant myself, I found a great interest in obstetrics and various issues concerning pregnancies. I have even considered switching careers and going back to medical school even though art and medicine seem to be on opposite ends of the career stick. Well, medicine is an art, and that was the link that I discovered works for me. Maybe someday, when I've had my fun with Graphic Design, Printing, Advertising, and Marketing, I will get into medical school and study obstetrics, or maybe even pediatrics. I enjoy putting mothers-to-be and new mothers at ease when even those smallest concerns seem to be so devastating.

And as a disclaimer: Always remember to raise any questions or concerns with your doctor. This is what they do, and they will not embarrass you for asking. The question you ask, they have answered probably 10 times that day before you. I know because I've seen it! So, don't worry, consult your doctor over any issue you may have. In cases of emergency or even a possible emergency, visit your nearest ER.

I am also a perfectionist. I like things organized and correct even though my English grammar isn't perfect, being from the south and all. As a perfectionist, it seems to take me forever to do things because I stress about every little detail. I guess that's why I've spent so much time on WA, trying to organize the categories and rephrase the questions just perfectly in addition to answering questions.

Here's some tips for asking questions to get the best and quickest answers in Sexual Health or Pregnancy. Use proper grammar and spellings and phrase the question as specific as possible without it becoming a "discussion question." This helps contributors to understand best what exactly it is that you are asking. Also, place your question in the most specific category you can find.. even if it feels like it's being buried under subcategory after subcategory. This helps ensure that your question will be seen by the right answerer. Also, do not use the "yes, this is my question" function unless it truly is the same question you are asking. If it's a similar question, but not the same question, be sure to use "no, but show me this question" option so that your question doesn't get buried into another question. Those are hard for answerers to find.
