I'm half Mohegan and half Mohawk so it naturally followed that I would teach Native American Studies. I still find it shocking that in this day and age how much stereotyping abounds about the American Indian. If I could pass just one thing on now, I would say Please remember that Native America is comprised of many, many different tribes with as many various customs, traditions, dress, legends, and histories.

I've finished two time travel historical romances where the heroine travels back in time to the land of my ancestors. I'm half way through my third novel that tells the story of a very special Mohegan medicine woman. So far locally, both of the first books have received nothing but superb critiques. Maybe someday, I'll have an opportunity to share them with the general public.

My interests lie in writing, painting, gardening and cooking and of course, Native American spirituality.
