Greetings! I am a 44 year old female, happily married, elementary teacher. I have a wide range of hobbies and interests from dancing to gardening and from Scifi and cooking. I live in SoCal, and have all my life. Currently I am in the Antelope Valley but have lived in San Diego, The Inland Empire, and Ventura County. I have a nearly 20 year old son, living in Las Vegas, and two step daughters, 25 and 17. I love animals, and currently am owned by two small dogs a Chihuahua and a Pomerainan mix, 3 parakeets, a beta fish and a rat snake. Some of the pets live at school during the year, and my students enjoy and learn from them. I teach in Ventura County, next year will be the 20th year for me. I have taught all grades, from K to 5. I also spent two years as an elementary technology specialist, which was great fun, as I ran the computer lab for our school. This year I had 3rd grade, and will probably have 4th grade next year, with some of my same students. My husband and I hope to purchase a home soon, we have been married about a year and have been caring for a family member's home while the youngest daughter finished high school. Our big goal right now is to own a place of our own, a lot closer to work for both of us. We want to make it into a place of joy and welcome for ourselves, friends and family.
